2022-2023 Campaign

Our BACK the JACK fundraising goal for the 2022-2023 school year was $150,000. Together, we made it happen by raising over $166,194! The official campaign dates were August 26 – September 16, 2022.  It's not too late to donate though!  We can continue accepting donations and corporate matching anytime in order to be able to do more for our school! 

This year our focus is on Teacher Grants, Teacher Training (with regard to dyslexia, writing, etc.), Literacy Kits for first grade, school-wide STEAM days throughout the year, other physical improvements, and support for Specials classrooms.  

We suggest a donation of $200 per child but we appreciate every donation made, regardless of the amount. You might further consider joining one of our higher donation levels. The various levels of patronage are from $200 to $10,000+, see levels below.

Make a donation to BACK the JACK of $200 or more and you will be entered into a drawing to win a family membership to the Fernbank Museum (2 adults/4 children)! You will receive one entry for every $200 donated.

To help the Foundation reach its $150k goal, an anonymous donor will match $2 for every $1 over the suggested donation of $200 per child, up to $10K.  So each dollar donated over $200 per student goes even farther! 

Please make your tax deductible donation by Friday, September 16. Donations can be made via credit card using the green BACK the JACK button or by check. We encourage you to donate by check so that we will not incur the 3% credit card processing fee. To donate by check, fill out a 2022-2023 donation form and include it with a check made out to the Nickajack Elementary Foundation in a blue foundation envelope. Place the envelope in the black box at school. And don’t forget about the corporate matching program!
