BACK THE JACK

The Nickajack Elementary Foundation needs your help in raising the funds necessary to support our school’s commitment to technology, academic excellence and student success and to provide our kids with the most competitive education possible!

The foundation has been raising funds for Nickajack for twelve years. With the cooperation of our Nickajack families, teachers, and communities, we have continually supported the educational program in many different ways.

This year our focus is on Teacher Grants, Teacher Training (with regard to dyslexia, writing, etc.), Literacy Kits for first grade, school-wide STEAM days throughout the year, other physical improvements, and support for Specials classrooms.

We suggest a donation of $200 per child but all donation levels are welcomed and appreciated. Your employer may also match your donation

All donations of $200 or more will be entered into a drawing to win a family membership to Fernbank Museum (2 adults/4 children)! You will receive one entry for every $200 donated.

CORPORATE MATCHING

If you or your spouse are employed by a company that participates in a corporate matching program, your gift to the foundation may be matched or even doubled by your employer.

The corporate matching process typically works like this:

SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST

Ask your employer if they have a corporate matching program. If so, fill out all necessary forms and submit to your employer.

COMPANY CONTACT

Your company should contact us to verify your donation. If we do not receive a donor verification within a week, we will contact you to assist you.

MATCH DONATION MADE

The donation can take up to several months to process but you will again be contacted once the matched donation has been made.

“The grant we received to purchase two lighted sensory tables for the autism units has been the greatest addition to the classroom.  Our students thrive and learn in sensory-styled environments and the light table has helped us meet more goals by by giving our students a creative way to learn as well as provide discovery and sensory integration.”
